When you first sign up for Playster, or when you update your payment information, you may notice a $1 authorization on your credit card statement. This amount is held for validation purposes only and is always refunded, usually within 72 hours.
Like many online retailers, Playster sends authorization requests to your financial institution to ensure that your payment method is valid. These requests are not charges, but rather a temporary hold. If you have questions about the way your financial institution handles authorization requests, please contact their customer service department directly.
